The CMT and CAPT comparison tools allow you to compare school performance on the Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT) and the Connecticut Academic Performance Test (CAPT) from 2007 to 2013 (the last year that these tests were administered). The CMT was administered to Grades 3-8, and tested students in Math, Reading, Writing, and Science. The CAPT tested Grade 10 students in the same subjects. Scores are calculated by combining the performance at/above Proficient of all of these subjects. Beginning in 2015, Hartford students will be assessed using the Smarter Balanced Assessment, which will align to Common Core State Standards.
